Villa Life

It's been a while since I did a proper vacation in a tropical destination, chilled at a villa without much in mind and on hand. Last weekend, Pierre and I were in Bali, where we did just that, and boy, does it feel good. Now I question why I hadn't taken traveling around South East Asia's tropical destinations more into account. Admittedly, I'm drawn towards big cities more than little towns. But I don't pick favorites as long as I move and explore.

So, during our trip, we stayed at this beautiful villa called Hillstone Villas in the middle of what seems like a forest in Uluwatu. Upon our arrival at the villa, I couldn't believe how big it was for just two persons. We had three separate quarters - a living room, a bedroom, and a bathroom that had a considerable ass bathtub - all in equal sizes and all looking out to the garden and swimming pool. When we got the chance, I had to dip right into the pool and take advantage of the whole set with a photo op! Well, these are the results of that!

I think Pierre even had a bit of fun shooting, and we even filmed a few clips. He's just about done editing them, so I will probably upload a montage of our Bali trip very soon.

That's all for now. I have some thoughts about Bali, but I'll save that for another post with supporting visuals. I must admit, I'm feeling a bit lazy about typing more now because I'm engrossed in this series on Netflix. Is anyone else into Dynasty? I can't seem to stop binge-watching it right now. That's probably how I'll spend the rest of the Songkran holidays. It's surprising even to me, as I don't usually binge-watch or stay in during holidays. But I guess traveling from one country to another almost every other weekend, and I don't mean to brag, makes you appreciate being home and staying put when you have the chance.

Enough typing for now. Let me get back to my series. Talk again soon!
