Paris. 2015
Love Locked.
It's always been my dream to walk down the streets of Paris, have my photo taken with the Eiffel Tower peeking through Parisian buildings as a backdrop. But even after I had that ticked off my bucket list, I still can't believe that Paris had been real. This is the last installation from our visit to the city of lights and Penguin and I are sealing it off for all of you with a love lock.
Exploring Versailles
One of the many magical moments Penguin and I experienced in France is when we went exploring around the gardens of Versailles - the most opulent gardens I have ever seen in my entire life. The word gardens don't event cut it.
Pont de Bercy
Another post, another day in Paris. The best part about taking a stroll down the city on foot is you get to see the innermost part of the city, avoid the crowded touristy spaces, and you get to see places that not a lot of tourists get to see. On this particular day, Penguin and I made our way down to the 12th arrondissement for a photo op at Pont de Bercy.
Madeline
I'm leaving you with this set of photos taken from the time we went exploring and biking around Marie Antoinette's estate - the gardens of Versailles, cutting this post short to take more time off. He leaves for Macau tomorrow and it'll be another two weeks or so before we meet again so I'm signing off for now to have more quality time with him.
Parisian Sundays
Oh Paris, I'm amazed by how you can be so gloomy yet vibrant at the same time. As dark as the days go, there's still so much energy and enthusiasm from the people living within you.
Fit check in Palais Royal
This outfit in particular is one of those moments that I felt like it. Walking around in Paris in the most comfortable, freshest getup without worrying of looking whether I looked like a fool or too cool for school is just what I needed to really take in and make me feel like a part of the city.
Paris Visuals
Paris is a dream. Everything is just as beautiful as I imagined it would be and I feel so blessed to have been able to visit this romantic city with my love, Pierre.
Je T’aime, Paris!
It's been merely 3 weeks that I was there yet here I am seeing, reading, hearing all about the devastating tragedy that's happened. I am in deep shock of what inhuman things people are capable of doing, specially to a city that's always been a symbol of love; a city that I've only ever dreamed of living in; a city that's given me one of the best experiences of a lifetime.
