HKFW15 Press Event

I had the opportunity yet again to attend HKTDC's press event that aims to promote a series of events within two of the highly regarded fashion events regarded in the industry - Hong Kong Fashion Week for Fall/Winter, and World Boutique. Held at Fashion Walk, Causeway Bay, the event welcomed media and bloggers alike for a short briefing, followed by a delicious lunch at El Cid Spanish Restaurant, before proceeding to Fashion Walk for a Fashion Preview.

The preview, hosted by Rabeea Yeung, introduced us to the organisers of Fashion Week and World Boutique, and one of the most notable event in Fashion Week, Fashion Extravaganza, presented by Audi Hong Kong, make-up demo by Ryuko Lau, Head Stylist of Mac Cosmetics, and a sneak peek of the 13 house brands including Moiselle, I.T., and Shanghai Tang, that will showcase their Fall/Winter collections at Fashion Week.

Besides the Extravaganza that will reveal the creative works of internationally celebrated designers, a few of the most notable events also include Hong the Young Fashion Designer's contest with this year's special judge H&M creative advisor Margareta van den Bosch, and an exhibition that will welcome at least 1800 exhibitors from around the world.

As a style blogger who's always looking for inspiration and interaction among fellow fashion enthusiasts, I'm perfectly excited to attend some of the above mentioned events at Fashion Week that will take place from January 19 to 22. Along with Chezka, I will be joined by our friends Ivan and Eurica to watch the shows and ultimately meet new friends.
