In an unexpected twist of events, what was supposed to be a few days’ visit to my cousin, Kendall, in Dubai turned into a two-week stay due to COVID-19 finally catching up to me (or the other way around, rather).

Instead of moping about, Pierre and I made the most out of our stay (while staying cautious and safe) by exploring what Dubai has to offer and creating content while we’re at it.

Something about this trip and this city made me feel like anything in life is possible. I can’t pinpoint what it is. At the same time, I can’t decide if I like Dubai or not. Nevertheless, Pierre and I had a lot of fun, especially going to the desert for the first time! It made me think of how small we are in this vast world. It’s such a humbling experience.
