Pierre and I have known for a few months now that we’re having a baby, but this was essentially the first time that we’ve expressed it, albeit discreetly, to everyone in the digital space by taking these photos and posting them on Instagram.

If you know my style, I’m always in oversized or loose-fit clothing, so this was also the first time I fully saw my baby bump sans my usual attire and had it displayed in public so blatantly.

It’s a lot to process, and I am honestly overwhelmed with all the changes that my body is going through. Even more so with the fact that Pierre and I’s lives will never be the same again. But the excitement subdues all of that.

I don’t think we’ll ever be ready, but we are looking forward to this new chapter of our lives.
